There is no certification for building inspectors in the state of Georgia. Anyone with a business license can claim to be a licensed home inspector, so how do you choose someone with the right credentials? HOMEPRO OF GEORGIA inspectors are the most qualified in the industry. Each inspector attends the prestigous Professional Home Inspection Institute in Falls Church, Virginia. Then the inspector must complete his training in-house with other inspectors. After several months of rigorous testing, the inspector may become a HOMEPRO OF GEORGIA inspector. Our inspector's training doesn't stop there. Even after they have worked in the field, the inspectors must continue training. Our inspectors take the SBCCI exam to become International Code Congress (ICC) certified. This keeps them up to date and current on New Construction Codes and Building Regulations. Our inspectors have joined the American Society of Home
Inspectors (ASHI) or Georgia Association of Home Inspectors (GAHI). These
groups are dedicated to ethical
and quality standards for home inspections in the state of Georgia. GAHI
and ASHI are stringent organizations with requirements for maintaining
one's status as members. |
