Qualifications 

There is no certification for a building inspector in the state of Georgia. Anyone with a business license can claim to be a licensed home inspector, so how do you choose someone with the right credentials? HOMEPRO OF GEORGIA inspectors are the most qualified in the industry. Each inspector attends the prestigous HOMEPRO school in Falls Church, Virginia. Then the inspector must complete his traingin in-house with other inspectors. After several months of testing, the inspector can become a HOMEPRO OF GEORGIA inspector. 

Our inspector's training doesn't stop there. Even after they have worked in the field, the inspectors must continue training. Our inspectors take the SBCCI exam to become Council of American Building Officials certified. This keeps them up to date and current on New Construction Codes. 
  

Our inspectors are also encouraged to join the Georgia Association of Home Inspectors. This is a group dedicated to ethical and quality standards for home inspections in the state of Georgia.

As a result of your detecting the use of non-galvanized nails on my siding during the pre-drywall inspection, I was able to bring this to the attention of my builder and successfully have the problem repaired.
